European Economics Preview: ECB Minutes Due

Account of the monetary policy meeting from the European Central Bank is due on Thursday, headlining a busy day for the European economic news.

At 3.15 am ET, the Federal Statistical Office is scheduled to issue Swiss consumer prices for September. Inflation is forecast to rise slightly to 0.6 percent from 0.5 percent in August.

At 3.30 am ET, industrial production and orders from Sweden are due. Industrial output is forecast to drop 0.3 percent on month in August, following a 0.9 percent decrease in July.

In the meantime, IHS Markit is slated to release Germany's construction PMI for September.

At 4.00 am ET, the Society of Motor Manufacturers & Traders releases UK new car registrations figures for September.

Also, Swiss KOF Institute is set to publish Autumn economic forecast.

At 5.00 am ET, Greece unemployment data is due for July. The jobless rate is seen at 21.1 percent in June.

At 7.30 am ET, the ECB is set to issue the accounts of the monetary policy meeting of the Governing Council held on September 6 and 7.
