SWISS ECONOMIC CALENDAR

Swiss data has been on the upswing of late, following suit after its British and Euro-Zone counterparts. Most notably, the Swiss inflation gauge just broke a 21-month deflation streak, a sign that economic activity may be picking up for the landlocked nation; inflation gauges are lagging indicators, so the data might mean that stronger growth has already arrived. As such, in line with the broader regional European recovery in recent weeks, an improvement should be anticipated.
