European Economics Preview: UK Factory PMI Data Due

Factory Purchasing Managers' survey data from the UK and euro area are due on Monday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 3.00 am ET, consumer and producer prices and PMI figures from Turkey are due. Inflation is forecast to fall to 11.4 percent in June from 11.7 percent in May.

In the meantime, PMI reports are due from Norway and Hungary.

At 3.15 am ET, the Federal Statistical Office releases Swiss retail sales data for May. Sales had fallen 1.2 percent in April.

Markit is scheduled to issue Spain's factory PMI data at 3.15 am ET. The index is forecast to rise to 55.6 in June from 55.4 in May.

At 3.30 am ET, PMI figures are due from Switzerland and the Czech Republic. The Czech PMI is expected to rise to 57.2 in June from 56.4 in May.

At 3.45 am ET, Italy's manufacturing PMI data is due. The factory PMI is seen at 55.2 in June versus 55.1 in May. Thereafter final PMI figures are due from France and Germany.

At 4.00 am ET, IHS Markit releases euro area final PMI report. The manufacturing PMI is expected to match the flash score of 57.3 in June.

Also, Italy's unemployment data is due at 4.00. The jobless rate is forecast to rise to 11.2 percent in May from 11.1 percent in April.

At 4.30 am ET, IHS Markit is slated to issue UK factory PMI data. Economists forecast the index to fall to 56.5 in June from 56.7 in May.
