European Economics Preview: U.K. Mortgage Approvals Data Due

Mortgage approvals from the U.K. is due on Tuesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 3.00 am ET, Spain's INE is set to issue producer prices for June. Prices had decreased 5.5 percent on a yearly basis in May.

Half an hour later, Sweden's producer prices are due for June. Prices had declined 4.5 percent year-on-year in May.

At 4.30 am ET, the British Bankers' Association is set to publish U.K. mortgage approvals figures. The number of mortgage approvals is seen falling to 39,650 in June from 42,187 in May.

At 8.00 am ET, Hungary's central bank is scheduled to announce its interest rate decision. The bank is widely expected to keep its key rate at 0.9 percent.
